Certificate II in Seafood Industry - Fishing Operations (Deckhand) - Enrolment Starts NOW

Qualification: Certificate II in Seafood Industry (Fishing Operations)

This is a 5 week (classroom and practical) program. On completion, full certification will be awarded ONLY if candidate has attended the full program, completed all assignments and is assessed competent.

1. Coxswain: 30 January - 15 February 2012
    (including 3 day Cox Engineering)
2. Radio: 16-17 February 2012
3. Radar: 27-29 February 2012
4. Elements of Shipboard Safety (ESS):
    Apply Elementary First Aid (SFA): 21-22 February 2012
    Basic Firefighting (FF): 20 February 2012
    Personal Survival at Sea (PST): 23-24 February 2012
5. Master 5/Skipper 3: 30 January 2012 - 24 February 2012
6. Inshore Coxswain: 26-30 March 2012 (this certificate allows the holder to
    drive an 8 metre boat in waters within 5 nautical miles and is partial
    completion of full Coxswain).

1. Marine Engine Driver - Grade 2 (MED 2)
     Date: 5 - 16 March 2012
     Cost: $1,500 /p.p. (excluding exam fees)
     Venue: 10-12/110 Reichardt Road, Winnellie NT 0820, Australia
     NOTE: This is NOT a training course. It is designed to prepare candidates for the
     assessments of marine qualification issued by marine authority only. Candidates
     enrolled for this program are expected to have already gained a certain degree of
     knowledge and work experience.

2. Marine Engine Driver - Grade 3 (MED 3)
     Date: 19 - 23 March 2012
     Cost: $600 /p.p. (excluding exam fees)
     Venue: 10-12/110 Reichardt Road, Winnellie NT 0820, Australia
     NOTE: This is NOT a training course. It is designed to prepare candidates for the
     assessments of marine qualification issued by marine authority only. Candidates
     enrolled for this program are expected to have already gained a certain degree of
     knowledge and work experience.

3. Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (PSSR) - AMSA STCW'95 Compliant
     Date: 27-28 February 2012
     Cost: $550 /p.p.
